Inner child healing therapy for BIPOC Adults is a therapeutic approach that focuses on healing and nurturing the wounded inner child within an individual. It is based on the concept that your unresolved childhood experiences and traumas can continue to impact your emotional well-being and behavior in adulthood. The goal of inner child healing therapy is to reconnect with and heal the wounded inner child, thereby promoting emotional healing, personal growth, and overall well-being.

We help you explore and understand your past experiences, especially those that may have caused emotional pain, neglect, or trauma during childhood. We help you reclaim your narratives, heal from past wounds, and develop a deep sense of self-worth and self-love. This offers a path towards personal liberation, cultural reconnection, and the restoration of your inner child's inherent joy, creativity, and resilience.

 

We understand the nuances of racial and cultural dynamics and provide culturally informed guidance and support throughout your healing journey.

We use various therapeutic techniques and interventions which include guided visualization, role-playing, body-centered interventions, and dialogue.  This process involves acknowledging and validating the emotions, needs, and desires that were unmet during your childhood. It can also help you break free from self-sabotaging behaviors, patterns of dysfunction, and repetitive cycles of unhealthy relationships.
