Marialejandra Gutierrez, AMFT
Marialejandra works with first generation students and daughters of immigrants who want to improve their self-esteem and learn to trust themselves with navigating academia and managing stress, anxiety, self-doubt, and guilt associated with the pressures and expectations of being a first-generation child of immigrants.
She uses a culturally sensitive and integrative approach which includes trauma-informed interventions, inner child work, mindfulness practices, and CBT. Marialejandra creates a safe and warm environment to support you in expressing yourself and addressing your fears, feelings, wounds, and hopes. Together, you will explore coping tools to empower you to gain self-awareness, reconnect with your authentic self, reclaim your inner strength, and create a thriving and fulfilling life.
